Abstract

We report a ratiometric probe with 8-aminoquinoline as the fluorophore and salicylhydrazide group as the receptor, which shows low detection limit for Zn<sup>2+</sup>, as well as anti-interference towards Cd<sup>2+</sup>and Pb<sup>2+</sup>.
