Abstract

former chief, Professor Hagen, has asked me to give an account of my investigations respecting exfoliation of the superficial layer of the lens capsule and its relation to glaucoma simplex, and I feel deeply thankful for the honour thus shown me. Meanwhile I fear that much of what I have to say is already well known to my hearers, and therefore perhaps of little interest.
