This paper records MPI and MMPI mean scores, intercorrelation matrix and principal component analysis of a military aircrew cohort. Significant differences are shown between the scores of this highly selected group and the general population normative data. The principal components isolated in the MMPI, the intercorrelations between the individual scales of the MMPI and between the two inventories are, however, in accord with the findings of others on non‐flying populations.
