An assessment of the influence of clinical demonstrations on the confidence of undergraduate dental students, when treating patients requiring removable partial dentures

Abstract

This study showed that those students who had received a clinical demonstration immediately prior to treating their patients believed they were more confident and as a result their performance was improved. Clinical demonstrations are time consuming, but they would appear to be time well spent.
