Abstract

The duration of the cycle of the seminiferous epithelium in the guinea pig was studied by autoradiography at intervals after injection of 3H-thymidine. From the relative duration of the cycle stages and the location of the most advanced labeled cells at each interval, the duration of the cycle was determined to be 8.45 days.
