SUMMARY. A case of multicentric reticulohistiocytosis in a young man is presented, associated with a polymyositis in which myotonia was prominent. Both skin nodules and muscle abnormalities reverted to normal with steroid therapy. The cytoplasm of the giant cells in the skin nodules has been shown to contain a glycolipid.
