Fruit set per inflorescence in Telopea speciosissima tends to increase with increases in both the number of flowers per inflorescence and inflorescence height. This could be due to larger and higher inflorescences being more conspicuous, receiving more pollinator visits and thereby receiving more pollen than smaller and lower inflorescences or to patterns of resource allocation within plants.
