Dexamethasone Facilitates Discharge After Outpatient Anorectal Surgery

Abstract

A single dose of dexamethasone (4 mg IV) decreased the time to "home readiness" without increasing the incidence of postoperative wound complications in an outpatient population undergoing anorectal surgery.
