A generalized structure of a whitefly pupal case depicting its diagnostic structural features is given. Diagnostic features of the new species as well as the known ones are illustrated. Keys to the tribes, genera and species of the subfamily Aleyrodinae are given. A check list of Indian Aleyrodidae with their hosts and distribution is appended at the end. In this study 61 new species are reported, viz., Aleurocanthus clitoriae, euphorbiae, gymnosporiae, ixorae, lobulatus, russellae, shillongensis, singhi; Aleuroclava cinnamomi, citri, dehradunensis, ehretiae, evanantiae, goaensis, kavalurensis, longisetosus, madhucae, mysorensis, nanjangudensis, philomenae, pongamiae, singhi, wrightiae; Aleurolobus azimae, barleriae, burliarensis, cassiae, karunkuliensis, psidii, spinosus, sterculiae, valparaiensis, walayarensis; Aleuroplatus buchananiae, cinnamomi, distinctus, walayarensis; Aleurotrachelus binkae, cinnamomi, goaensis, pykarae, wendlandiae; Cohicaleyrodes indicus; Dialeurodes brideliae, dehradunensis, malabaricus, martini, yercaudensis; Dialeurolonga lagerstroemiae; Moundiella indicus; Pealius homonoiae, nagerkoilensis, spinosus, walayarensis; Rhachisphora kallarensis, madhucae; Singhius ehretiae; Tetraleurodes bambusae, burliarensis, thenmozhiae and Zaphanera indicus. One new combination viz., Pealius simplex and 4 new synonyms viz., Acaudaleyrodes citri with A. rachipora, Dialeurodes glomerata and Pealius indicus with P. simplex, and Aleuroplatus spinus with Pealius spina, are also proposed. Cohicaleyrodes and Moundiella hitherto reported from Africa and Burma, respectively are recorded for the first time from India. Likewise, Bemisia pongamiae from Taiwan is found to occur in India. 1.
