Pulkovo astrometric observations of bodies in the Solar system from 1898 to 2005: Observational database

Abstract

We provide an overview of the main results obtained as part of the programs for astrometric observations of bodies in the Solar system at the Pulkovo Observatory over the period 1898–2005. We summarize the results of photographic observations and show new possibilities for astrometric observations in connection with the transition to CCD detectors on Pulkovo instruments. Observing and data reduction techniques are considered. A database with Pulkovo observations of bodies in the Solar system has been created and opened to users.
