Abstract

ABSTRACT This study presents complete descriptions, including the biometry and figures, of female and deutonymph Zercon solenites Haarløv, 1942. Moreover, we present the first descriptions of the male and protonymph of this species. Specimens were collected from two islands in the Svalbard archipelago: Spitsbergen and Nordaustlandet. Previously, the species had only been reported from Greenland. This study includes a key to determine the adult individuals of the genus Zercon so far reported from Svalbard.
