Abstract

Abstract It is a little misleading to refer to the recent re-publication of Michael Nyman's ExperimentalMusic: Cage and Beyond as a second edition. As is clear from Nyman's Preface, virtually nothing has been changed from the original edition; the only additions are a Foreword by Brian Eno, a discography by Robert Worby and a selection of Suggested Further Reading, which adds updated bibliographic references to the original Selected Source Bibliography.
