Intestinal permeability and bacterial growth of the small bowel in patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis

Abstract

Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth and increased intestinal permeability does not seem to play an important pathogenic role in patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis.
