Abstract

Gas electron diffraction data of (CH 3 ) 6 Sn 2 and (CH 3 ) 2 Te 2 are consistent with molecular models of D 3 and C 2 symmetry and bond distances Sn–Sn = 277.6(3) pm and Te–Te = 268.6(3) pm, respectively.
