Effects of Sufentanil on Electroencephalogram in Very and Extremely Preterm Neonates

Abstract

The present data demonstrate that EEG is affected by bolus injection and continuous infusion of sufentanil. Sedation must therefore be considered to avoid misinterpretation of EEGs.
