A model of the high- T c oxide superconductor based on the antiferromagnetic spin wave exchange mechanism is investigated within the mean field theory. It is assumed that the holes which are the superconductive carriers are mainly doped into the O site on the Cu–O plane. Cu spins are assumed to be localized and in an almost antiferromagnetic state. It is shown that the exchange of the antiferromagnetic spin wave between the holes results in the Cooper pairing with d -like symmetry.
