Structures of Halogenated Chamigrene Derivatives, Minor Constituents from the Red Alga <i>Laurencia nipponica</i> Yamadan

Abstract

Abstract Three halogenated chamigrane-type sesquiterpenes have been isolated as the minor metabolites from the red alga Laurencia nipponica, collected at Sannai, near Wakkanai. The absolute structures of these compounds were confirmed by spectral and chemical methods.
