AbstractAbstractThe extent of the β loop in the Fe-Mo system given by Hansen is ∼ 1.6 at.-%Mo and more recent work reported by Elliott sets the limit at 1.2–1.5 at.-%Mo. Hillert et al. have reported a single measurement for the outer edge of the loop of 2±0.5 at.-%Mo at 1100°C.
