Abstract

An extensive library of reversibly CO2-binding ionic soft materials is rapidly and economically prepared from commodity chemicals, using only ‘click' reactions for their assembly. While the majority are task-specific ionic liquids, a number of others are remarkable, CO2-reactive resin-, gel-, or plastic-like phases.
