Abstract Ternary rare earth metal coordinate was used to the copolymerization of epoxides and carbon dioxide. Rare earth compound is crucial in raising the catalytic activity and improving the micro‐structure of the aliphatic polycarbonates. The Tg of the aliphatic polycarbonate is adjustable by controlling the relative molar ratio of the comonomers.
