Abstract Lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT) presents several disadvantages when used as a sensor of hydrostatic pressure (hydrostatic piezoelectric coefficient dh=d33+2d31 and the voltage coefficients g33=d33/ε, gh=dh/ε are small). The purpose of this work is to fabricate the flexible composite with 0-3 connectivity consisting in a polymer matrix (70/30 mol% copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and trifluoroethylene) loaded with ceramic powder (PbTiO3, PLZT) for the use in the hydrophones sensors, and to study their dielectric, and piezoelectric properties in function of the temperature and the volume fraction of ceramic. After elaboration piezoelectric ceramic-copolymer composite materials, we have used differents mixture formulae for the calculation of dielectric parameters.
