From the observation of the angular dependence of the remanent magnetization of Y-Ba-Cu-O and Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O single crystals, Felner et al. [Phys. Rev. B 40, 5239 (1989)] concluded that there is a strong intrinsic anisotropy of the flux trapping in the crystals. In this Comment, we provide experimental evidence that the observed angular dependence of magnetization results first of all from the shape of the sample.
