Abstract Chemical vapor deposition of TiO2 combined with UV light irradiation at nanocrystalline TiO2 particle layers coated on plastic film electrodes (ITO-PET) drastically enhanced dye-sensitized photocurrent and improved photovoltage up to 750 mV, achieving energy conversion efficiency of 3.8%.
