This book is a 338-page atlas that summarizes the major clinical findings of distinct genodermatoses. This atlas relies on the use of color clinical photographs and illustrations, as well as photomicrographs of diagnostic laboratory abnormalities associated with specific inherited syndromes (primary dermatologic diseases or syndromes in which dermatologic findings are prominent and/or diagnostic). The clinical photographs and illustrations are outstanding and carefully depict salient disease features. In addition to the illustrations, each genodermatosis is accompanied by a brief narrative summary that describes the key clinical findings (including inheritance, estimated incidence, age of presentation, and prenatal diagnosis if available), pathogenesis (if known), differential diagnosis, laboratory findings, and prognosis. Particularly interesting are the accompanying brief "Clinical Pearls" contributed by a variety of dermatologic experts in the field; such "Pearls" of wisdom usually are anecdotal treatment preferences or diagnostic tips from the experts. The atlas is organized into chapters in which genodermatoses are
