Abstract

The use of a highly fluorinated tris(pyrazolyl)borate ligand to stabilize a silver(I) adduct containing dimethyl diazomalonate is described. [HB(3,5-(CF3)2Pz)3]Ag[OC(OCH3)]2CN2 is a thermally stable solid (ca 90 °C). It shows an uncommon coodination mode for a diazoalkane ligand.
