In Brief We present an alternative technique for one-lung ventilation as safe way of treating patients with tracheostomy using a fiberoptic bronchoscope and a Fogarty catheter. IMPLICATIONS: We report on the use of a Fogarty catheter as an endobrochial blocker in patients with tracheostomy for providing one-lung ventilation. This could be achieved either with or without a fiberoptic bronchoscope.
