Superconducting microwave bandpass filterusing spiral resonators with no air bridges

Abstract

A very compact superconducting bandpass filter using spiral resonators has been designed and demonstrated. No air bridges are required, an important feature for superconductors. The electric and magnetic fields are such that errors in track width have relatively little effect on resonant frequency and resonator coupling.
