Abstract Our objective was to investigate the occurrence of free pulpal calcifications in the pulpal chamber of teeth of patients suffering from coronary alterations. The incidence of denticles was higher in patients with coronary atherosclerosis than in patients who did not suffer from this disease. Moreover, patients suffering from coronary atherosclerosis presented a higher number of teeth with pulpal calcifications than patients in the control group.
