Multipion Production in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions

Abstract

We show that recent measurements of ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ multiplicity distributions produced in relativistic heavy-ion collisions are in remarkable agreement with the predictions of the collective tube model.
