Ectopic gastric mucosa in duplication of the rectum presenting as a perianal fistula

Abstract

A case of ectopic gastric mucosa occurring in duplication of the rectum is reported. Gastric ectopia in relation to the rectum is a rare entity, and this patient had a unique presentation as a perianal fistula which caused a considerable diagnostic problem. © The ASCRS 1982
