Abstract

Test/retest strategies for H. pylori are cost-effective for the prevention of recurrent ulcer-related hemorrhage because they maximize H. pylori detection and eradication, resulting in fewer recurrent hemorrhages and fewer patients requiring antisecretory therapy.
