Inhibition of 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene- and urethan-induced lung tumor formation in A/J mice by long-term treatment with dehydroepiandrosterone

Abstract

Long-term treatment with the adrenal steroid dehydro-epiandrosterone reduces weight gain without suppressing appetite and inhibits the occurrence of 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene- and urethan-induced lung tumors in A/J mice.
