Bacterial meningitis in adults

Abstract

High-resolution MRI can visualize the involvement of vestibulocochlear structures in bacterial meningitis in both cooperative and consciously impaired patients. These findings suggest a correlation between abnormalities on MRI and the extent of cochlear dysfunction.
