SummaryChlorothiazide (Diuril), an orally effective diuretic, has been shown to decrease arterial pressure response to injections of norepinephrine, epinephrine and isopropylnorepinephrine in the anesthetized dog. The possible relationship of this finding to the reported hypotensive action of the compound is discussed.
