Abstract Square wave adsorptive stripping voltammetry (SWAdSV) of nickel and cobalt at wall‐jet electrodes in a continuous flow system has been evaluated. Characteristics and advantages relative to differential pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetry (DPAdSV) in continuous flow systems are explored. Under optimized experimental conditions, sensitivity is approximately a factor of ten higher than DPAdSV, and one‐nanomolar detection limits are achieved. Solution deoxygenation is unnecessary and sample throughput is increased.
