Abstract

Abstract KFe (MoO4)2 has a pure ferroelastic phase transition at T1=312K. We revealed a second phase transition at T2=139K by studying the specific heat and birefringence. Raman and Brillouin scattering measurements are used for the analysis of lattice vibrations with respect to structural transitions.
