Abstract

ATRIAL MYXOMA cardiac myxoma, but microscopically the formed elements were clearly angiomatous. The palatal and other developmental defects in our case were apparently coincidental, since we have found only one other report of a myxoma associated with a congenital abnormality, an atrial septal defect (Paquet, 1946). The rate of growth of these tumours, however, is possibly quite slow, judging from the length of history sometimes recorded.
