Periodontal Ligament Stem Cells Possess the Characteristics of Pericytes

Abstract

PDLSCs possess pericyte-like characteristics and may localize as pericytes in the PDL. These data provide useful information for stem cell biology in periodontal research and stem cell-based periodontal therapy.
