The Effects of Infliximab Maintenance Therapy on Health-Related Quality of Life

Abstract

Infliximab therapy provides substantially improved HRQL as measured by both the disease-specific IBDQ and the generic SF-36. A maintenance regimen of either 5 mg/kg or 10 mg/kg of infliximab is more effective than a single 5-mg/kg infliximab infusion in sustaining this benefit.
