Detection of epidermal growth factor receptor in the serum of gastric carcinoma patients

Abstract

The authors believe that serum EGFR could be useful as a tumor marker of gastric carcinoma for diagnosis, prognosis, follow-up after surgery, and monitoring patient response to chemotherapy.
