Abstract

By EPR, it is found that Cr3+-ions substitute Na+-ions in a STHSe crystal lattice. A model of charge compensation by two holes of sodium ions in surroundings of paramagnetic Cr3+-ionsis proposed. In the ferroelectric phase transitions, jumpwise changes of \D\ and \E\ parameters typical for first-order phase transitions are observed for α → β as well as for α → γ.
