Superfluid Density in Small Pores

Abstract

The superfluid density in small pores filled with He II has been measured using fourth sound. When the onset temperature for superfluidity is below ${T}_{\ensuremath{\lambda}}$, it is found that the fractional superfluid density is much reduced compared to that of the bulk helium.
