Single-molecule magnet behavior in three cyano-bridged heterometallic Fe^III–Ni^II clusters

Abstract

By utilizing a tricyanometallate as the building block to react with divalent nickel salts in the presence of ancillary ligands, we successfully synthesized three cyano-bridged heterometallic Fe^III–Ni^II complexes showing different single-molecule magnet behavior.
