Molluscicidal saponins fromallium vineale

Abstract

Several molluscicidal saponins have been isolated from the bulbs ofAllium vineale and their structures assigned using spectroscopic techniques. Particularly important were the use of 2D-NMR spectroscopy for resolved the structure of the saccharide unit.
