Effects of some seed‐borne fungi on Picea glauca and Pinus strobus seeds

Abstract

Abstract Effects of inoculations of nine fungi to prechilled and nonchilled seeds of Picea glauca and Pinus strobus were studied in unsterilized and sterilized nursery soils, and a peat‐vermiculite‐perlite mixture. All the fungi demonstrated weak pathogenicity to seeds.
