A cell for the rapid measurement of diffusion coefficients of electrolytes in aqueous solutions has been made by using a sheet of Millipore filter as a diaphragm, and the diffusion coefficients of several kinds of electrolytes have been measured in aqueous solutions. The diffusion coefficients obtained were in good agreement with the values determined by a conventional sintered-glass diaphragm cell and with values reported in literature.
