Abstract Lanthanide complexes of acetylacetonate-meso-tetra-(1-naphthyl) tetrabenzoporphyrin, Ln (TNTBP) acac (Ln = Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu; TNTBP = meso-tetra-(1-naphthyl) tetrabenzoporphyrin; Hacac = acetylacetone) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, ultra-violet visible spectra, infrared spectra, X-ray photoelectron spectra and 1H NMR spectra.
