Race and Acute Abdominal Pain in a Pediatric Emergency Department

Abstract

Constipation is the most common diagnosis in children presenting with abdominal pain. Our data demonstrate that no racial differences exist in the evaluation, treatment, and disposition of children with abdominal pain.
