Deficiency of liver adipose triglyceride lipase in mice causes progressive hepatic steatosis

Abstract

Compared with the hepatic steatosis of obesity and diabetes, steatosis in ATGL deficiency is well tolerated metabolically. ATGLLKO mice will be useful for studying the pathophysiology of hepatic steatosis.
