Cardiopulmonary Bypass Induces Neurologic and Neurocognitive Dysfunction in the Rat

Abstract

CPB caused both neurologic and neurocognitive impairment in a rodent recovery model. This model could potentially facilitate the investigation of CPB-related injury mechanisms and possible neuroprotective interventions.
